The people of Siem Reap are renowned for their gentle and humble nature. Communication with locals may present challenges, but employees at restaurants and bars typically speak English. Affordable options for food, drinks, lodging, and transportation make it a cost-effective destination.
I was fascinated by the ancient ruins in Siem Reap and our private tuk-tuk excursion, which lasted half a day. The picturesque roads leading to the different sites were quite memorable. Personally, I felt that spending two nights and three days in Siem Reap was sufficient as there didn’t seem to be any additional activities that caught my interest.
